About Soura Magazine

Founded in 2005, Soura Magazine is a space where photography meets fine art in a marriage of aesthetics, vision, and inspiration. It is a biannual publication passionate about giving fine art photography a voice and an arena to showcase the best and most innovative works it has to offer. Soura not only spotlights an art form that deserves immense recognition, but it also aims to educated through informative tutorials, and inspire through success stories.


The year 2010 marks the 5th anniversary of Soura Magazine, and it is celebrated with the launch of its first book "Soura Magazine Turns 5".

Stéphanie de Rougé main interest in life is to observe humans in urban spaces. De Rougé sees her purpose as not to invade but to share. Between 2000 and 2006, De Rougé founded two major photography projects for underprivileged children: ‘Labo Photo’, and ‘Regards’.
